Things are poppin’ in #BlameDrewsCancer land. You are all so amazing. We’re doing good things.
We’re talking about cancer, and we’re acting. We’ve raised close to $3,000 for the American Cancer Society, we’ve raised $500 for Make-A-Wish, and now we’re just getting started with our new lifelong partner LIVESTRONG.
But we need that big sponsor. That sponsor who puts ONE DOLLAR to every unique person who has blamed something on my cancer with a direct donation.
Today I come to you with my hand out. And I’m NOT going away.
Right now, that number is a staggering 8,158. That would be $8,158.00 for LIVESTRONG. And for cancer research, support, and a cure. That’s over 8 THOUSAND people who want to kick Cancers butt into yesterday.
I can’t think of any better way to spend money.
I’ve tried to give over the years. But sometimes I’d skip that dollar at the checkout line because well….I was selfish.
