Brad is a geek as you know. He was presented with a problem that was not his fault, but the software creators fault.
What he has done is found a way around the original design to fix it to his liking to accomplish what he'd like to accomplish.
Basically he is awesome.
And he is aware of this fact now, and is jubilant.
